IIP Scotland

Tesco-IIP-presentation-1.jpgInvestors in People was established in 1991 as a national quality standard for improving an organisation’s performance through its people.  More than 3,000 organisations in Scotland hold the Investors in People Standard (including 3x1 Public Relations) with a further 4,000 having benefited from working towards it.

The Edinburgh-based organisation works closely with the Scottish Government to address Scotland’s skills needs and 3x1 Public Relations provides support via a strategic media relations campaign - to compete against other business bodies - for a share of voice within the Scottish media.  The content of the campaign aims to break down the perceptions of Investors in People being a training tool, generating masses of paperwork and interested in plaque unveilings!

Peter Russian, chief executive of Investors in People Scotland, said:

“In working towards our long term vision for Investors in People it was essential that we were able to refresh the awareness and understanding about IIP in an approach which was relevant and specific to Scotland. 3x1 not only grasped this priority, but built on and developed these principles producing results which matched and exceeded our high expectations.

“Our continuing relationship with 3x1 reflects our strong sense of satisfaction with both the outputs achieved to date and the nature of the working relationship, which thrives through shared values of what we are trying to achieve and high levels of mutual trust and confidence.”
