Winning Scotland Foundation is an independent business-led charity. Its vision is to cretate a positive winning attitude throughout Scotland using sport as a catalyst.
It aims to encourage and facilitate winning in sport and is working closely with business, education and sport on its 'Culture of Winning' progamme in Scotland.
This is focussed on three strategic priorities; winning coaches, winning minds and winning Scots.
3x1 launched the Foundation to business and sports audiences, highlighting its £7.5m fundraising target.
We adopted a thought-leadership strategy to gain share of voice by:
• Positioning The Foundation as a visionary think-tank
• Creating a debate on why Scotland needs a ‘culture of winning’
• Promoting the biggest research into Scottish elite sport by Stirling University
Over £3 million has been raised to date and the Foundation enjoys influencer support from politicians and business community.
