Graham's The Family Dairy
Graham’s The Family Dairy is Scotland’s largest independent dairy company and the seventh-largest milk producer in the UK.
Established in 1939, it remains a family-run company, operated by the founder’s grandchildren – Carol and Robert. The founder’s son remains active as chairman.
The Graham’s remaining a farming business owning a total of 700 acres, but it also sources milk from 50 farms across Scotland. The company now employs 300 staff and output has increased from 400 to more than 360,000 pints of milk a day in the 69 years the company has existed.
The bulk of Graham’s business continues to be in conventional milk, but it produces a number of award-winning ranges. It supplies a variety of outlets, from multiples like Sainsbury’s to convenience stores, department stores such as Harvey Nichols, delicatessens, restaurants and hotels.
