Brewed by Scottish & Newcastle plc, Strongbow is the UK cider market leader with a 60 per cent market share, accounting for more than 3 out of every 5 pints of cider sold across the UK.
3x1 Public Relations launched Strongbow Sirrus through national media including promotional activity with MTV, Capital Radio, Metro, Heat, Nuts and Zoo. The consultancy also supported the brands high profile summer programme called The Strongbow Cider House.
The Strongbow Cider House entered its eighth year on the UK music festival circuit and 3x1 Public Relations created a campaign to build consumer awareness of 2007’s activity. The consultancy appointed MTV presenter Jo Good as brand ambassador and used traditional media as well as social networking websites including MySpace and Facebook to spread the word among target consumers.
