New name, new era for IIP Scotland

This reflects its repositioning as an organisation development business and its wider service offering to support business and economic growth.

The radical new brand will be unveiled this evening in Edinburgh by Keith Brown MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Jobs and Fair Work.

The internationally recognised Investors in People accreditation (IIP) and Investors in Young People (IIYP) will remain the flagship services, complemented by the roll-out of new services later this year.

Peter Russian, Chief Executive of Remarkable, said: “Today marks a new era for Investors in People in Scotland. We’re building on the best of what we do, and responding to the increasing demands from organisations who are looking for specific help and support in addressing the changing challenges of today’s workplace.

“We’ve steadily diversified from one to seven services over the last decade and it’s important that our brand reflects our expanded portfolio with a contemporary identity.

“We remain committed to the Investors in People accreditation as an award of quality. We will continue to improve our services by working with Scottish, UK and international partners to share the latest thinking and research on leading practice. People are the key to making organisations remarkable and we believe they perform better when they develop and give more control to their employees.”

Cabinet Secretary for the Economy, Jobs and Fair Work Mr Keith Brown said: “Re:markable. A very apt new name for an organisation which has delivered so much for employees, employers and the economy since it launched in 1991.

“There is only one thing we know for definite when it comes to work in the 21st century, and that is change – and often fast paced change – is inevitable. So it’s great to see this organisation evolve to be more flexible, and actually expand its offer, to meet the demands of a modern day economy and workforce in Scotland.”

Remarkable’s team of 35 Specialists support organisations by delivering expert advice from IIP accreditation to key business issues including people management, improving

performance, skills, leadership, employee engagement, developing young people and improving health and wellbeing in the workplace.
