Colin is a highly experienced news, features journalist and author. Before joining 3x1 he specialised in adventure sport, travel and culture/heritage.
His career includes launching the Scottish Sports Hall of Fame at sportscotland and developing a communications strategy for the Scottish Institute of Sport and its six Area Institutes of Sport.
He has managed the Nottingham Open (tennis) press office; handled media/sponsorship for the Scottish Saltires (cricket) and provided EventScotland with PR support for its inaugural national conference.
Contributor list has included BBC Scotland, The Herald and Herald Magazine, Sunday Herald, Independent on Sunday, No.1 Magazine, Coast and Trail as well as international travel guidebooks such as Footprint Scotland Highlands and Islands, Rough Guide Scotland and Insight Guides Glasgow.
